Super cool Datsun that was "repaired" by a JDM mechanic, but they weren't electricians. Lots of fun things we did like replacing bad fixes, alternator upgrade, tach install, and fuel filler upgrade.

So much done here. 1978 Toyota BJ40, right hand drive diesel! Such a cool rig. We did a drive train swap to a B3 for more power and 5th gear. Painted the firewall and engine. Adapted the exhaust, painted the roll cage, completely rewired added a light bar and a dual battery setup with an isolator. Lots of fun and a great customer. That was after fixing a host of problems the last person left him with.

Good customer from way back brought in this awesome Grand Prix.  This thing has almost every factory option.  We got all the accessories working and prepped for the rebuilt radio.  This thing even has a reverb tank like a tube amp to add some depth from AM!

This was more than just wiring, we modified the car to accept its new aluminum radiator and electric fan, made brackets for an alternator conversion along with a complete rewire.  The owner had gotten started but we finished it up for him.  I was able to remove the original wiper knob and cut, drilled and taped it to work with its new electric wiper motor.  This keeps his dash looking stock.  Dual batteries: one for the car and one for the airbags.  We used a battery isolator we sell to keep both batteries charged from one alternator but they’ll never discharge each other.  No switches needed, its all automatic.  Distributor was rebuilt as well.  Extra loops of wire are for future accessories.

This Mini comes from the customer with the Land Rover earlier.  Whoever sold it told him it was rewired.  That was far from the case.  We replaced the main battery cable, and the voltage regulator to generator circuit.  Whoever worked on this before was a bit of a hack but we got everything working again.  These things are pretty roomy inside once you get in there.

Complete rewire on this Impala.  He bought a direct fit kit and the first instruction was “use this template to cut a hole in your freshly painted firewall”.  We made him a bracket that has a false firewall to allow for their mounting style and takes off the original emergency brake bolts.  No drilling required.  Routed everything nice and clean.
